To the Richmond Road School community, The Richies Short Film Festival and Competition supporters,
With great regret - this is to advise that the 7th Richmond Road Short Film Festival and Competition (aka The Richies), scheduled for April 4th, 2009, is CANCELLED.
While we have had a wonderful response from parents volunteering their help, and several generous companies offering goods or services, the worsening economic crisis means that sponsors are unable to provide sufficient financial support for us to stage a successful event.
The Richies is a unique and fabulous event. We will work towards its return as a viable school fundraiser and credible short film festival and competition for 2010.
Our heartfelt thanks and sincere apologies to everyone who has offered their support and donated their time over the past few months. |
